DRM Removal Freeware for Mac – FairGame

If you need to share your music and video even if it is DRM protected you need special software, DRM Removal, a program that can convert your music and video files and unprotect them, so you can share them with no problem. We assume that you, the visitor of this site, have all legitimate reasons for needing DRM removal software for your protected files.

FairGame allows users to convert audio files you have bought on the iTunes Store to an unprotected format while keeping original metadata, lyrics and artwork. It doesn’t do lossless DRM Stripping. Please note that FairGame remove drm protection through re-encoding protected AAC files purchased in iTMS into unprotected AAC files with Apple iMovie Software.

It takes 2 min. 42 sec. to convert a 4 min. song to AAC on a MacBook Pro 2.16GHz.

What you MUST DO (only once) to get FairGame to work:

• Enable "Access for assistive devices" in the "Universal Access" system preference.
• Select "Place clip in Movie Timeline" in the "Import" preference of iMovie HD.

Then you can simply:

• select some songs in iTunes
• click on the "Process songs" button
• then don't touch anything and wait until it's done...(FairGame is scripting iMovie's interface to process the songs, don’t interfere)

NOTE: FairGame is available for Mac only, and does NOT support Windows.
